You’re as bad as me. Age doesn’t make this terrible. It just shows you’re much better now. I feel awful saying that I never quite realized how much you were into Piccolo & Dende until recently. I mean, yeah, I noticed the art. But maybe I’ve just been seeing more of it. Awesome. ....You’re not in league with that Mugen group are you? *LOL!*
haha Well, a long time ago I went with the whole female Namekian thing, and that's when I was a younger teen. But when I got older, I found the hermaphrodite concept more believable and interesting, and I felt that a possible relationship between the two seemed kind of logical. The only two Namekians on Earth, up there on that look out...only God knows what's going on up there. lol
But don't feel bad! 8)
I honestly never heard of the word Mugen, I had to look it up. But in any case, no. lol
Mugen is the name of that party that did the doujin w/ Dende & Tehanue. Don’t worry, I hadn’t heard of them before myself until that happened *lol* Speaking of which, I still haven’t received my copy just yet. I assume the holiday traffic is to blame. In any case...
Oh, I understand completely! There’s a lot of stuff I did in my early days, especially from those first few years working w/ Huryuki, that I would love to change, or at least tweak up some. I was a novice then --of the style, the show, of this Japanese art form in general. Thankfully I did have good guidance and seasoned veterans to help bridge my stupidity *lol* But still. You know? I don’t know whether or not the hermaphrodite concept was mentioned ‘exact’ at the time in the way I knew it later, but it was certainly suggested in the form of ‘types’ rather than an absolute certain gender — i.e. dragon type, healer, etc. For instance, Kayee became a ‘type’ of Namek rather than a ‘female’, although she resembled one in appearance. Looking back on it now I guess that still has some merit. Hermaphrodites ‘can’ look male or female. She didn’t get ‘pregnant’ in a word and Tehanue was still an egg.
Christ, here I go writing a frick’in novel. *lol* Duh! I should have known that was Flute. I saw the baby in the snow picture you did. I just wasn’t sure if it was the same baby.
No no, I write little novels too sometimes. It's nice to get a reply like that from time to time anyways, compared to a lot of the short comments I get. Most of the time, I can't think of much to say in return with those.
I really like reading/hearing other people's opinions on stuff, though. It's really interesting. 8)
And for the snow picture, it's actually not the same baby. ^^ The older one, on Piccolo's back, is Flute, and the baby is Eli (obviously the name is not an instrument or any musical-like affiliation...I just liked the name, and I figured...hey...it kinds of sounds Namekian-ish. *lol*).
